This photo was taken Monday and the eye looks pretty bad. However, on Tuesday I actually pulled out a large "splinter" (if you would call it that) and today the eye looks fabulous! The trip to the ER was to make sure that the stick did not actually go completely through the eyelid to cause issues with the eyeball. The doctor looked and said that the stick did not go through, gave us some antibiotics to ward off infection and an eye cream to help it heal.
