Monday the 23rd we took TJ to her 4 year checkup. She received 4 shots, had her eyesight and hearing checked. All was well. The doctor checked her out and had her touch her toes. There is a bulge on the upper, left side of her back. The doctor said scoliosis. So we now have an appointment at Scottish Rite Hospital on the 20th of August. Scottish Rite is one of the leaders in dealing with scoliosis. At this time we don't know a lot (i.e. the degree of curveature, how many curves), but it looks as if TJ will be wearing a brace for a while. We would like prayers that the bracing will help correct the curve enough that she will not need surgery.

In other news, we still have not heard from CPS at all. I have been calling at least twice a week with no results. So, at the moment we are going to stop being proactive. While we are not stopping the process, we will not put a lot of effort into the process. We feel that taking care of TJ is a priority right now. If CPS contacts us then we will decide then, how and when to proceed. I will not make anymore phone calls or leave messages until we decide what to do after TJ's appointment in August. Please pray that our waiting children stay healthy while everything falls into place.

Rey and I are feeling a bit in limbo. We don't know what is next and where to go from here. Pray for the Lord's clarity in our situations and that He will guide us in His path. Thank you all.
