Expecting Too Much?!?!?

Do I expect too much from friends and family?!?!?

Since we were out of town all last week, unexpectedly, I kept trying to call a friend here in town. I never got her machine and no one answered. You would think that out of 4 nights of calling, at various times, you would actually talk to a person at least once. Never did. I just wanted her to drive by the house to check that all was in order and to look in on our dog. She really didn't even have to get out of her car. I found out that I could not count on her, eventhough she constantly tells me to call if I ever need anything.

Just a vent.
